Senegal

Senegal is a West African country known for its rich culture, hospitality, and strong sense of community. Its capital, Dakar, is a meeting point between African tradition and modern influence. Despite its beauty and friendly people, Senegal faces challenges such as poverty, unemployment, and limited access to basic services in some regions, which particularly affects children, limiting their opportunities for education, health, and overall development.

Village of Baback

In the village of Baback Located in Senegal, more than a thousand people live in this village. Here is the only evangelical church in the community, which actively works with the new generation—children and teenagers—through clubs, summer schools, and Sunday school.

Activities are carried out in various spaces such as outdoors, in the church, or in the pastor’s house, always aiming for children to grow with the knowledge of God’s Word and, when they reach youth, to follow the ways of Jesus.

Current Needs

Currently, the community faces a lack of an adequate and safe space where children can gather for their Bible classes. Although great efforts are made to maintain activities, the absence of a dedicated space limits the development of lessons and the teachers’ creativity.
