Colombia

Colombia is a South American country known for its cultural diversity, the warmth of its people, and landscapes ranging from the Andean mountains to the Caribbean coast. Although it is a nation full of joy and natural wealth, many communities still face challenges such as poverty, inequality, and violence, especially in rural areas where opportunities are limited. In regions like Santander, these realities are evident in families struggling to access quality education, basic services, and safe environments for their children. For many children and youth, growing up under these conditions means facing barriers that affect their emotional, academic, and spiritual well-being. Amid these difficulties, there is a deep need for hope, support, and spaces that strengthen their holistic development and their identity in God.

Girón, Santander

In Girón, Santander, God has established a ministry dedicated to raising children with Christian values, strong principles, and a deep love for the Lord. Through a homeschooling program, parents and teachers work together to strengthen their education and spiritual growth.

Currently, classes take place in the pastor’s home, a space that is no longer sufficient for the number of students. Therefore, there is a desire to acquire a dedicated facility, set up a computer lab, and open a children’s dining area that also supports single mothers.

The greatest dream is to establish a children’s home: a safe refuge for children and mothers facing abandonment, violence, or need, where they can receive care, education, support, and God’s love in a tangible way.

Current Needs

The ministry needs to strengthen its infrastructure and resources to continue providing a comprehensive education based on Kingdom values. An adequate space for classes, educational materials, technological equipment, and supplies for the children’s dining area are required. Each need represents an opportunity to witness God’s provision and continue transforming lives through teaching and service.
